We all have stories we tell ourselves - about life, relationships, money, happiness, work...you name it, there's a story! In 2024, I decided I wanted my story about work to change. I have dual bachelor degrees in Accounting and Psychology and a Masters of Accountancy. I'm a former CPA and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner). It wasn't until 2016 when I lost my job in forensic accounting that I realized how much of my life was defined by my work. While I enjoyed the work of forensic accounting, it was often demanding of my time, working 60+ hours per week for what I believed was reasonable pay at the time, at the cost of family and my own personal life. When I lost my job, I was absolutely devastated - I had no idea what I was going to do, how I would replace my income, support myself...and I spent the next 8 years (EIGHT YEARS!) wandering lost, not only in my career but life. Until coaching. I hired my own career coach to help me find what I wanted to do when I grew up...I considered therapist, teacher, mediator...and landed on coach. I could not be more satisfied with my decision. Supporting others become the best version of themselves brings me great joy and satisfaction in ways forensic accounting never did.

I know what it's like to be at my lowest point. I know what it's like to wander lost. I know what it's like to crave something so deeply that only THAT THING will satisfy the craving.
